Film Profiles

Lumica does not use filters or post-production edits on your photos.

Each film profile is modelled on an existing film from the film era. The treatment is applied live as you shoot — so the look is baked in at the shutter, not slapped on afterward. What you see in the viewfinder is what goes to print: a true-to-life film look and feel.

Lumi Classic Timeless versatility

No matter what your subject, no matter what phone you're using and no matter the light, Lumi Classic should fit your application.

This film aims to be versatile, making the photographed object come to life, whatever subject it may be.

Moonica Gold Dreamy & nostalgia

For those who love to tint what their eyes see with what their mood is like.

Characterized by its rich colours, present even in the deep shadows, Moonica Gold exist to be juxtaposed to a big, epic landscapes... or smaller wonders that can't be understated.

This film is not easy to master, but can be extremely rewarding, complementary to your artistic vision.

Lumi Mono X Monochrome

Stripping back the photograph to its core elements and emphasizing the emotions, monochrome photography is a completely different language.

Lumi Mono X helps you to look at things from a different perspective.

This is where lighting, contrast, and texture become your top priority: you gotta embrace lines, shapes, and angles.

Lumi Lomo B&W — Punchy monochrome

Black and white with attitude: rich blacks, bright whites, and a tonal range that feels handmade rather than clinical.

Grain and contrast do the talking. It’s less about polished studio greys and more about the lively, slightly rebellious monochrome look that made experimenters fall in love with film again.

Street, portraits, and anything with strong light and shadow. Embrace the texture.

Chromica — Dreamy chrome

The classic slide-film dream: vivid but poetic colour, warm amber midtones, deep skies, and that snap that made travel photos feel permanent.

Saturation stays rich without going electric. Contrast is present, so exposure matters — nail the light and the frame feels like a memory you can hold.

Daylight, travel, and anything you want to look like it already belonged in a family slide tray.

Lumi Cine — Cinema nights

Built for the glow of streetlights, neon, and warm indoor bulbs — the palette that makes nights feel like a scene from a film.

Expect cool greys and blues against yellowy-beige midtones, with highlights that bloom instead of clipping hard. Daylight will run cooler; artificial light is where this profile sings.

Shoot after dark, under tungsten, or lean into the blue cast on purpose. This one rewards mood over accuracy.

Velvica Pro — Vivid landscape

Turned-up colour for when the scene deserves drama: electric greens, deep reds, and skies that hold their punch.

High contrast and strong saturation make landscapes, nature, and bold colour subjects pop. Latitude is tighter than everyday colour film — expose with care and the payoff is huge.

When “natural” isn’t enough and you want the print to stop someone mid-scroll.

Velvica Exp — Expired drama

The same vivid DNA, pushed into unpredictability — colour shifts, softer contrast edges, and that slightly haunted look of film that lived too long in a fridge.

Expect magenta–orange drifts, deeper grain, and happy accidents around bright edges. It’s less control, more character.

For experiments, night walks, and frames where perfect fidelity would be boring.
