Lumica is available on iOS. We are currently working on an Android version. We regularly update the app with new features based on feedback from our community.
No. All photos must be taken within the Lumica app. You can’t import, preview, edit, or delete them. Once a photo is taken, it’s headed straight to print—no takebacks, no filters, no second guesses.
Yes—before capture. Lumica offers a real-time viewfinder that displays what you’re capturing with the film profile applied, plus accurate exposure settings. But once the shutter clicks, that’s it—just like a real film camera.
No photo is truly bad. At Lumica, we believe imperfections are part of the magic—every frame is authentically yours.

When buying a virtual film roll, you can choose from a variety of curated film profiles when shopping on our Film Store—like Lumi Classic 400, CineLumi, or LumiLomo. Each one simulates iconic film stocks.
We’re always working on new looks to inspire your creativity.
You can purchase up to 10 virtual rolls at a time. Each one can be renamed and used separately. Unlike disposable cameras, you don’t have to finish one roll before starting another.
You’ll be prompted to fill out a short printing form—choose your paper finish, borders, and other preferences.

You’ll receive high-quality 4x6 prints.
We ship internationally. If you were able to place an order, that means shipping is available to your region.

No. Lumica is a fully analog-inspired experience—your photos exist only as physical prints.
No one can see your photos through the whole process: from the moment you’ve captured them until you open the enveloppe. Our automated system ensures safe storage, printing and shipping.
