No. All photos must be taken within the Lumica app. You can’t import, preview, edit, or delete them. Once a photo is taken, it’s headed straight to print—no takebacks, no filters, no second guesses.
Yes—before you shoot. Lumica offers a real-time viewfinder that displays what you’re capturing with the film profile applied, plus accurate white balance and exposure settings. But once the shutter clicks, that’s it—just like a real 35mm SLR or disposable camera.
No photo is truly bad. At Lumica, we believe imperfections are part of the magic—every frame is authentically yours.

When buying a virtual film roll, you can choose from a variety of curated film profiles when shopping in our Film Store—like Lumi Classic 400, CineLumi, or LumiLomo. Each one simulates iconic film stocks.
Yes. We’re always working on new looks to inspire your creativity.
You can purchase up to 10 virtual rolls at a time. Each one can be renamed and used separately. Unlike disposable cameras, you don’t have to finish one roll before starting another.
You’ll be prompted to fill out a short printing form—choose your paper finish, borders, and other preferences, just like at a traditional photo lab.

You’ll receive high-quality 4x6 prints, developed and printed in a real photo lab—the same kind used for 35mm and disposable cameras.
We ship internationally. If you were able to place an order, that means shipping is available to your region.
Shipping typically takes up to 10 business days. If your photos haven’t arrived after that, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Prints are shipped in a classic, sturdy photo envelope.
Yes! You can re-order additional sets of your prints.

Yes, but securely. All photos are saved to your Lumica account on our encrypted cloud. We can’t view your images, but we ensure safe storage and printing.
No. Lumica is a fully analog-inspired experience—your photos exist only as physical prints.

No worries. All your shots are safely stored in your Lumica account. You can log into your new phone and pick up where you left off.
