Prints

Every Lumica frame becomes a 4×6 print on professional photo paper. Printed by lab partners who do this for a living — not a home printer, not a kiosk. Color, grain, and contrast stay true to the film profile you shot with.

You choose the finish and the border when a roll is ready to develop.

Paper finish

Glossy
Smooth, reflective, saturated. Deep blacks and bright highlights. The classic drugstore-and-lab look.

Matte
Soft surface, no glare. Colors sit quieter. Easier to handle, easier to look at under mixed light.

Same paper weight and print size either way. The finish is the only change.

Three border styles

None
Image to the edge. Full frame, no margin.

Black with metadata
A thin black border with the analog details printed on it:

  • Frame count on the roll (e.g. 18/24)

  • Date

  • Film profile used

  • GPS position, if you allowed location

The same kind of strip a lab used to print on the edge of a frame.

Classic white
A clean white margin around the image. The familiar photo-lab look. Easy to hold, easy to drop in a frame or album.

Pick one style for the whole roll when you send it to print.
